NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Tuesday (Feb. 20) on Veterans Blvd. in Metairie.
The incident resulted in the death of an adult female at a local hospital due to injuries from the crash.
At approximately 5:20 p.m., deputies responded to a collision between a motorcycle and a 2-door vehicle in the 3800 block of Veterans Blvd. An adult male and female found injured at the scene were taken to a local hospital, where the female later died.
The driver of the 2-door vehicle was also injured.
Investigations revealed the motorcycle, driven by the male with the female as a passenger, attempted to pass the 2-door vehicle on the left and collided with its rear left corner, ejecting both from the motorcycle.
Toxicology reports for both drivers are pending, and no additional information is available.
