I ordered two figures from AmiAmi’s pre-owned section and I am rather disappointed.
Both Items I ordered were rated as Item B/Box B. I heard from other people that the figures they received were in a very good condition so I was rather disappointed when I got my order.
The first figure I got is the Alter Honoka Figure from Love live, and I received her damaged. The two strands of hair are broken. Normally they are attached.
Otherwise the figure looks fine but that broken strand just bugs me.
The second figure I got is the Kotori Alter figure, also from Live live.
First of all, I don’t think the box should be a B, it is more like a C, since it’s ripped at the top. And the Blisters inside are completely Yellow. I don’t really mind the box, since I am looking at the figure and not the box, but it’s still a bit sad to see.
The damage on the box would be fine, if I didn’t also spot some damages on the figure itself.
Starting with the Base: In comparison to Honoka’s base, it looks rather yellow. Is her base alsways like that or is it some discoloration? Since the blisters inside were also yellow.
And then I also saw that little spot on her skirt/bloomers
And some scratched paint on her shoes, but that is very irrelevant since you don’t see it when she is on her base.
So I wanted to ask you guys if I am just nitpicking and if these damages are normal for Grade B or if I am rightfully disappointed. I mean beside the flaws that I mentioned the figures look fine. Maybe my expectations were so high, because when I received my nozomi Alter figure from Solaris Japan, that was rated at 4 Stars, it was literally perfect. There was no visible damage at all. It looked like new.
I mean I spent quite a bit of money with shipping and customs and all of that and now I don’t really know how to feel about them. But what I have to say is that I am not really bothered about Kotori but more about Honoka
